While there are still other tests in all of my other four core classes, the test in World Studies are the hardest in my opinion. Because there is a lot of content I need to memorize and fully understand in order to pass it. These tests I've not gotten lower than a B-, but I still do have a hard time comprehending all of the content needed in the appropriate amount of time. But luckily, Cornell notes taken the CORNELL WAY has helped me a lot more understand and remember all of that content a lot better than I have before I was ever introduced to the CORNELL WAY. I'm now developing a lot more better study habits for all of this information thanks to all I've been taught about studying better in AVID.

While there is a lot of content I need to know before the test, the review sheets and/or games have really helped me out. These games help me know if I need to know more or less information on the current unit. The tests usually cover content from the whole unit and is worth a huge chunk of our grade. That's why it's kind of hard for me to get all of the tests down so easily. Some of the tests are projects or essay over the content we've learned, which are a bit harder than the actual tests. But these tests help me look back on how I can improve my study habits for any of the other tests in the future. So if I fail a test in October, then I know what more I need to do studying wise for the test in December. That's how I handle tests and how they help me.
